Science in Motion evaluation: Funded by the Wellcome Trust and delivered by Phoenix Dance Theatre, Science in Motion seeks to test an innovative approach to teaching science to children across six primary and secondary schools, using contemporary dance as a stimulus. Our role is to test the efficacy of the approach; to find out how children, artists and teachers respond to the methods; and to develop and test a framework should the project be rolled out.
Empowered to Dance evaluation: Another Phoenix Dance Theatre project, we have been appointed to evaluate the Company’s pilot programme which seeks to engage boys and young men aged 8 – 19 in contemporary dance training and performance.
